Gabriella Szatmáry, MD, PhD

My training background is in ophthalmology in Hungary and neurology in the United States. I completed my neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining UNC Ophthalmology, my cross-disciplinary expertise applied to a range of physician roles in neuro-ophthalmology, neurology, and neuroimaging. Aside from professional activities, I enjoy traveling and various sport activities. I love to create and nurture bonsai, an activity that ties in with my other passion of meditation.
