The Haywood 209 Cafe is a newly opened and renovated American traditional diner connected to Sam's Mart in the heart of the Ironduff community in Crabtree, Waynesville, N.C. Dining options include hearty breakfasts (all the staples) bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, omelets, country ham, hashbrowns and homefries, etc. and home-style country dishes for lunch and dinner e.g. burgers, rib-eyes, country-fried steak, beef tips, chicken tips, reubens, chilidogs, and the like. Located in the same building that had been "The Haywood Cafe" for over thirty years previously under several names and owners, with a large and loyal customer base. Now back in action after almost ten years being closed down and vacant, much to the delight of the community, and still going strong since March of 2015

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed eating out on the patio. We had the hotdogs and chips and tots. Everything was delicious and the waitress was very attentive to all our needs. We will be back.
