Anee decided to join our practice after working several years in the community health sector private practice, and inpatient as well. She is originally from Cary, NC and completed her bachelor's in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology from North Carolina State University. She then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine - PA Studies to complete her graduate degree. She always knew her passion was working in psychiatry because she wants to overcome the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage those struggling to seek guidance from a professional. Having a mental health diagnosis is no different than any other chronic medical condition such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, etc..

Through active listening and thoughtful questioning, I partner with my patient in determining the best courses of treatment and care. Striving to utilize true science and evidenced based practice methods while decreasing overall medication burden and offering natural alternatives, (when possible) is a passion. I have cared for patients from 14 to 104 and enjoy every stage of life and every unique individual I have the honor of caring for. Having been a nurse practitioner for 16 years, and a registered nurse for 11 years before this, I have cared for a wide range of chronic and acute illnesses. My background has been in cardiology, day surgery, home health, student health at HPU, internal medicine, telehealth, and geriatrics.

Founded in 1968, Eldercare is an agency that offers a range of home health care and nursing solutions to senior citizens. It provides a variety of personal care and living assistance services, such as grooming, dressing, bathing, meal preparation and housekeeping. The agency also offers transportation, laundry, medication and linen change services. Eldercare employs a staff of nurse practitioners and home health aides. Additionally, it provides Medicaid and insurance options. The agency maintains a location in High Point, N.C.
