Established in 1972, Meineke Car Care Centers is a nationwide chain of independently owned and operated franchises that offer automobile repair and maintenance services. The car care center represents more than 900 franchised shops and offers a wide range of services, including exhaust system and brake repair, air conditioner installation and repair, constant velocity joints and boot inspection, and auto glass repair and replacement. It provides a variety of steering and suspension systems service, including wheel alignment and balancing, tire rotation, shocks and struts checks, steering stabilizers and motor cushions. The center also offers a wide range of other car maintenance services, such as oil and lube checks, filter changes, tire sales and installation, tire balancing and rotation, tune ups, fuel injection cleaning, and belt, battery and windshield wiper blade replacement. Based in Charlotte, N.C., it has various other locations in the United Sates, Canada, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
