Poppy's Bites and Barrels is a restaurant in historic downtown New Bern, NC serving up a modern twist on southern classic food. Menu features burgers, street tacos, and specialty Mac & Cheese. Our bar features some of the rarest Bourbons in North Carolina as well as a rotating 16 tap craft beer selection. Located in an old 1800s bank building. Our local restaurant's interior serves as living memorial to veterans and active duty members and their families.

Ok you will wait before the bartender comes. Long enough for a quarter of a football game. Oh my gosh if you still decide to order plan on halftime and the third quarter. Very very very slow.
