Dr. Alexander is an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon.

I have always been interested in working with my hands. My father owned a small business where we made custom cabinets, and little did I know that those skills would apply to medicine. My interest in medicine grew while in college, specifically foot and ankle. Once I applied and was accepted, I knew I would return to my community to serve the people who influenced me as a child. I am a proud Robeson County, North Carolina native and am honored to be able to impact my community in a positive way. It is my goal and mission to improve patients quality of life and allow them to enjoy activities that can be devastated by foot and ankle ailments. Whether its sports, hiking, returning to work, or just walking; it is extremely rewarding to assist people on their journey to a better and more enjoyable life. When not at work, I enjoy golfing and spending time with my family. As someone who grew up here, it is vitally important to provide high level care to the patients in Southeastern North Carolina. I am honored to be able to provide that through UNC Health Orthopedics at Southeastern Health Park and UNC Health Southeastern.
