Reflections By Cathy Foreman

History

In my late 30s it would seem that I have found something that truly makes me happy, holds my interest, and makes me proud because of what it produces: a smile, a heart flutter, chuckle, some tears or even a raised eyebrow. In July of 2011, I had the pleasure of being in my best friend's wedding...she asked me to bring my camera even though she hired a professional. I took some really great shots, on my own. Since then, I have been focused on honing my craft and I think I have found my happiness and joy. While I love photography as a whole, I relish in the post processing of the art. This is where I have complete creative control allowing me to create some rather unique pieces. The final product is almost like a new piece of work itself. Like painting, I incorporate textures and overlays ... knowing it's complete when its complete.

Specialties

Simply put, Reflections by Cathy Foreman enjoys the creative process. While we have an affinity for photography as a whole, we equally love the post processing side. It is during this time that we have complete creative control which allows us to turn an image into something quite unique.
