Established in 1992, the firm of Huggins, Pounds & Davis, L.L.P offers clients in Lumberton and Southeastern North Carolina a trial practice including both civil and criminal matters. The firm concentrates on personal injury, workers' compensation and wrongful death, as well as traffic cases. The firm has a nearly 30 year history. Bruce W. Huggins came back to Lumberton in 1972 and joined the firm of L.J. Britt and Son. In 1988, Dallas M. Pounds joined the firm, after which the name changed to Huggins & Pounds. In 1994, Katherine H. Davis joined, creating the firm as it is today. For 30 years the attorneys of Huggins, Pounds & Davis have served the community of Robeson County from the same location, above the former "Brown House" across the street from the Robeson County Courthouse.
