I have been spending time at Six Pence in Blowing Rock for the greater part of twenty years. The 'dark bar' vibe is my favorite. Not sports bar, nor 'coffee house' feel. For me...it is a dark bar....

Nice pub in adorable Main Street Blowing Rock. Very Irishy ambience. Servers were friendly. Great Shepard's pie. The nachos were ok but I think they forgot to melt the cheese lol. Nice place...
