Two Ukrainian sisters, Tatyana and Svetlana, opened Tala's doors to Raleigh area residents to share the rich culture of their motherland. They believe that savoring original flavors of ethnic cuisine is the best way to learn about the people of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and other former soviet states, as well as their history, culture and values. Tatyana and Svetlana have been serving the North Carolina community to enhance learning experience for everyone who interested in discovering Eastern Europe through food and to bring the taste of home for the local expat community.

This little market is tucked away in the back corner of a very plain shopping center. But what a find! Especially for our adopted Ukrainian son. They have a huge selection of Ukrainian chocolates...

Have been going to this store since 2007, amazing service and great selection! I wish I lived closer, I would go a lot more often! Prices are good considering you are buying from a local family...
