I have oncology and public health training with a strong focus on oncology clinical trials. From that foundation, I aim to provide cutting edge, compassionate care. I have received the Carolina Care Excellence Award which acknowledges my dedication to caring for the whole patient, not just their illness. I strive to be a good listener and build support networks for patients and caregivers that address the physical and emotional stress of a cancer diagnosis. In my role as Medical Director for the UNC Lineberger Clinical Protocol Office, I strive to make cancer treatments better for all current and future patients.

My primary clinical roles are in the inpatient child consultation-liaison and the outpatient taking care of our own initiative where I expand psychiatric care to underserved pediatric populations, build collaborative relationships with various pediatric colleagues/subspecialists, and provides medication management and psychotherapy to clinicians in need within UNC.
