North Lenoir Water Corporation (NLWC) is a nonprofit water corporation owned by its members, serving the northern part of Lenoir County, North Carolina. NLWC ensures a sustainable water supply by purchasing water from the Neuse Regional Water and Sewer Authority (NRWASA) since 2008, resulting in the recovery of water levels in their supply wells and the ability to maintain safe water levels for their approximately 15,000 population. NLWC operates with a network of approximately 420 miles of pipeline, 13 wells, and five elevated storage tanks, with a storage capacity of 3.575 million gallons of water.
