Dr. Albert Marr is s a board certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, and specializes in the foot and ankle. He is one of the only fellowship trained foot and ankle specialists in the area to be trained in total ankle replacement surgery for patients with arthritis of the ankle. Total ankle replacement surgery may offer select patients many of the same benefits as total joint replacement of the hip and shoulder. He graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Army, Dr. Lescault completed his orthopedic surgeon residency at Memorial Hospital in York, P.A., which included an affiliation with Johns Hopkins and Sinai Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. He continued his military service by providing orthopedic care at Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Bragg, N.C., and proudly served as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
