A simple BLT that was sublime. Somehow it filled me up. The tomatoe soup was out of this world. You could tell this one made from fresh sweet tomatoes.

Bistro 163 is a non-profit "pay it forward" restaurant, serving fresh locally sourced meals at a reasonable cost with a high quality of service. The mission of Bistro 163 is to increase food security and offer all neighbors a place to eat and come together as one community. We offer fresh food, prepared from scratch, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Lunch is served from 11 to 2, Tuesday through Saturday. Patrons are encouraged to pay more than the suggested menu price to help others enjoy a meal. If someone cannot pay for their meal, they may volunteer one hour in exchange for their meal.

Wonderful service oriented lunch place. Pay what you can or more. Homemade soups, salads, daily specials. Volunteer support and excellent chef.

Soup and sandwiches were very good. Service was great. Prices were very reasonable. Will return if ever in the area again.
