Black River High School

Black River High School is a learning center that provides a range of academic programs to in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, English, social studies, health, physical education, music, computer technology, language arts and foreign languages, such as Spanish, German and French. The school additionally provides special classes in photography, graphic design and resource management. It maintains a library media center that stocks books, periodicals and newspapers, as well as provides links to search engines. The school offers a range of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, baseball, and track and field. It also provides milk, fruit juices, chicken nuggets, pizzas, sandwiches, nachos and hot dogs for breakfast and lunch. In addition, the school operates a guidance and counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. It is a part of the Black River Local School District, which governs an elementary, middle and high school. Black River High School is located in Sullivan, Ohio.
