Established in 1982, the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine Health System embodies the values and philosophy of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine who sailed from France in 1851 to serve as the first public health nurses in Cleveland, Ohio. From its Cleveland headquarters, the CSA Health System sponsors ministries to respond to the health, education and human service needs of women, men and children in Ohio and South Carolina.
