Elyria Shopping Center in Elyria, Ohio is a 142,827 square feet shopping center located on the east side of the city. Formerly housing a Hills department store, which later became Ames, the center has since been subdivided. The only businesses that remain in the shopping center are Dollar Tree, Best Cuts, and Burger King.
The former Hills Ames store has been divided into several smaller spaces, including a Dollar Tree, Rentway (now closed), Best Cuts, and a larger space that has remained unoccupied since Ames. The Tops Friendly Market store, which was originally built as Finast in 1989, also used to be part of the shopping center. However, it closed in 2008 after being briefly operated as a Giant Eagle grocer store. Currently, a Napa Auto Parts store is set to open in the shopping center.
