Flight of Fear is an extreme roller coaster located in Mason, Ohio, at Kings Island amusement park. This steel sit-down coaster, designed by Premier Rides, offers an exhilarating experience with its enclosed track, reaching a height of 74.2 feet and a top speed of 54 mph. With four inversions and a duration of approximately 1 minute, riders can expect a thrilling ride with a G-force of 4.5.
Featuring an arrangement of four trains, each with five cars accommodating a total of 20 riders, Flight of Fear provides individual ratcheting lap bar restraints for a secure and comfortable ride. Originally equipped with over the shoulder restraints, the coaster underwent a modification in 2001 to replace them with lap bar restraints. While the exact number of converted trains remains unclear, the coaster continues to offer an exciting experience for up to 2000 riders per hour.
