Shake Savers, founded in 1983, opened our doors because customers of wood preservative manufacturers complained about the quality of preservatives and lack of service available for exterior wood, specifically wooden roofing. We learned a lot from our research and continue to build better products. Our goal is to provide the best available restoration process, from quality products to the best in customer service. We maintain many thousands of roofs in Ohio, a good number of which are well over 50 years old. Since Shake Savers was founded, we have grown to become the leader in restoring wood shake and shingle roofs.
