Hilliard Police Department

Established in 1957, the Hilliard Police Department employs more than 50 sworn officers and over 15 civilian employees. It maintains a field operations division that includes the patrol bureau, auxiliary officers, explorer post and school crossing guards. The department also has a special operations unit that includes the detective bureau and property room. The Hilliard Police Department s support operations unit includes the communications center and records bureau. It offers bicycle patrol and registration, community relations and watch, fingerprinting, and gun permit and registration services. The department supports the Drug Awareness Resistance Education program, which is an educational drug prevention program presented by uniformed police officers and teaches students the skills necessary to resist alcohol, nicotine and other drug experimentation. The Hilliard Police Department is located in Hilliard, Ohio.
