As a psychiatrist, I specialize in treating resistant mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders. I am a general, forensic and child and adolescent physiatrist specializing in suicidal and injurious behavior as well as psychiatric emergencies. As a forensic psychiatrist, I perform criminal and civil psychiatric interviews and evaluations for the judicial system. My areas of forensic interest include juvenile sex offenses, mental illness in the prison system, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and risk assessment. I have extensive experience with psychiatric evaluations and have been qualified as an expert witness in a wide variety of court cases. In my clinical work I am primarily provide psychiatric emergency services for adults and adolescents and treat conditions including anxiety, mood disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
