Kathryn Cook, DO

Dr. Bachtel joined the Akron Children's urology department in 2023. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Va. She completed a urology residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center, in Akron, Oh and a pediatric urology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Tx. She’s a member of the American Urological Association, Society for Fetal Urology, and Societies for Pediatric Urology.

Dr. Bradley Van Sickle is a pediatric endocrinologist at Akron Children’s. He earned his medical degree and doctorate in neuroscience from University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Van Sickle completed a pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology and is a member of American Academy of Pediatrics, Endocrine Society and Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society.
