Dr. Guillette is a pediatric optometrist at Akron Children’s Hospital, where she’s been practicing since 2021. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Optometry in Worcester, Massachusetts and completed her pediatric optometry residency at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Guillette is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. While she has helped to educate the optometry residents since joining our faculty in 2021, she recently took over as the Director of the Pediatric Optometry Residency Program in 2025.

Todd Ritzman, MD, FAAOS, FAOA is a highly skilled pediatric orthopedic surgeon and the chair of the Department of Orthopedics at Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, OH. He is also the director of the Spine Program and co-director of the pediatric orthopedic and scoliosis fellowship at the hospital. With a special interest in spinal deformity research, education, and innovation, Dr. Ritzman is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopedic Association. After completing his medical education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Ritzman underwent residency training in orthopedic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He further honed his expertise in pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis through a fellowship at San Diego Children's Hospital in California. Dr. Ritzman has received numerous awards and grants for his work, and has contributed to various publications, presentations, and lectures. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor in orthopedic surgery at Northeast Ohio Medical University.Generated from the website
