Maumee High School

Union Elementary School is a learning institution that promotes students intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth through instructional techniques and participation in a variety of learning opportunities. The school teaches various subjects, including math, social studies, English, computer skills, reading, writing, music, and health and physical education. It conducts guidance counseling sessions to assist students in the areas of listening and study skills, behavior, peer problems, self-esteem and family issues. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that offers a variety of food items. It serves students in kindergarten through grade five and is a part of Maumee City Schools. Established in 1856, St Joseph Catholic School is an educational institution that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 150 students and is fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accreditation Association. It conducts classes in a variety of subjects, such as language arts, math, science, social studies, art, music, and religious and physical education. The school has a staff of over 40 teachers, administrators and support personnel. St Joseph Catholic School also has a media center that offers books and reading materials. It maintains a computer lab that provides instruction in computer basics. The school offers meal and transportation services. St Joseph Catholic School conducts a variety of extracurricular programs, such as MATHCOUNTS, band, choir, quiz bowls, sports scouts, geography bee competitions, as well as operates a student council. It is located in St. Maumee, Ohio.
