Founded in 1934, Sauder Woodworking Company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of ready-to-assemble furniture. It markets more than 30 distinct furniture collections for entertainment purposes, home offices, bedrooms, kitchens and storages under the Sauder, O Sullivan and Studio RTA brand names. The company sells Chairs under the Gruga and Studio Seating brand names. It is a privately held company and its subsidiaries include Progressive Furniture, a manufacturer and importer of traditional solid wood, veneered and laminate furniture and Sauder Manufacturing Company, a providers of church, educational and health care seating furniture.
