Sexuality plays an important role in identity and relationships for many patients and can be vital to their experience of recovery, although sexuality is often less addressed during the rehabilitation process. I seek to advocate patient and provider discussion and management of this domain in order to achieve comprehensive rehabilitation outcomes. Lastly, I work with patients on the inpatient rehabilitation service post-stroke. This service provides evaluation and treatment for cognition and mood as well as adjustment to life changes post-stroke. I meet with the patient's family or caregivers to educate and support, so that they may best assist their loved ones in recover provide a variety of assessment and intervention services.
