She earned her mastersdegreein nursing from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio and a doctor of nursing practice from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharon has a special interest in primary care mental health, newborn care and lactationsupport,andpediatric nutrition and activity.She iscertified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as apediatric nursepractitioner anda pediatricprimary caremental health specialist.Sharon is also a member ofthe National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
