Established in 1969, the Vinton County Home Health Agency is a home health care center that provides a variety of nursing and personal care services. The agency also offers homemaking services to patients in their own home. It utilizes registered nurses as case managers for individual clients. The nurses are in constant contact with health care providers involved in clients care. The Vinton County Home Health Agency is a member of the Ohio Council for Home Care. The agency is Medicare-certified through the Ohio Department of Health. It accepts Medicaid, private insurance and workers compensation plans. The Vinton County Home Health Agency is a division of the Vinton County Health Department.
