One of the most important qualities a physician can have is compassion, especially for cancer patients. I love talking to and learning from patients, and I appreciate their ability to open their lives to me. It's always humbling to know that someone has trusted me to care for them, and it's something I never take for grante he OSUCCC - James is a wonderful institution that fosters great research and patient care. Every day, new trials are being conducted, and the results of this research will only help to create improved treatments for the future. I really enjoy the multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, and I feel fortunate to be able to work with so many dynamic groups. I aspire to learn from other specialists and better myself through the endless academic opportunities that The James provides, both as a teacher and researcher.
