Caney Elementary School

Rattan High School, located in Rattan, Okla., serves the social, academic and cultural needs of students. Governed by the Rattan Public Schools District, it teaches classes from grades nine through 12, and enrolls more than 150 students. The school provides a wide range of programs and activities, including family, career and community leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, yearbook, school newspaper, clubs, band and choir, student council, and outdoor activities. Rattan High School also provides a wide range of sports programs, including as cheerleading, basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, track and field, cross-country, and softball. It provides a wide variety of academic programs, such as computer technology, health education, music and art, science, business, math, social studies, business and English. The school also teaches various vocational and career development courses.

Caney Public School District offers educational and cocurricular programs for students in grades kindergarten through 12. Located in Caney, Okla., the school district enrolls more than 1,000 students annually and employs over 100 personnel. The district is approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and Oklahoma State Board of Education. Its curriculum includes mathematics, English, biology, chemistry and physics, history, geography and economics. In addition to core subjects, the school district also offers courses, such as foreign languages, agricultural and industrial arts, computer science, physical and health education, vocational and instrumental music, and art and craft. Its students participate in a variety of clubs and organizations, including Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and National Geographic Bee.
