Lawton Senior High School

Lindsay High School is a college-preparatory school that provides academic classes to students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers educational classes in vocal and instrumental music, family and consumer science, social studies, science, physical education, math, language arts and business. Lindsay High School has a guidance department that counsels students in the areas of college placement, financial aid and career planning. It organizes a range of athletic activities, such as cross-country, football, baseball, basketball, soccer, track and field, golf and softball. In addition, the school has a library that promotes reading and learning skills. Lindsay High School is a part of Lindsay Public Schools and is located in Lindsay, Okla.

L. Mendel Rivers Elementary School is located on Altus Air Force Base and is reserved for children living in base housing or children who have a parent working on base. Located in Altus, Okla., it serves more than 400 students up to grade four. The school is also home to the Altus School District's special education program for developmentally delayed preschool children. L. Mendel Rivers Elementary School employs more than 30 qualified teachers, counselors, and physical and speech therapists, and over 15 support personnel. Its special programs include the Accelerated Reading Program and the Johnny Can Spell phonics program. Two computer labs are available for drill and practice, and students also have access to the Internet. Its parent-teacher organization provides the school with daily volunteers, and also sponsors activities, such as the school carnival and Friday candy sales to raise money for school activities.

McNiel Junior High School, located in Wichita Falls, Texas, offers educational programs to more than 600 students in grades seven and eight. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, foreign languages, health education and mathematics. The school s subjects also include science, social studies, computers and physical education. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include band, drama, chorus, a student council, orchestra and yearbook.
