Ranchwood Elementary School

Ranchwood Elementary School, built in 1971, is a coeducational institution that provides academic classes to nearly 500 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, such as restaurant nights, pizza parties, spirit days, spelling bee competitions and skate nights. Ranchwood Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher organization that sponsors educational and social programs that complement the classroom curriculum. The school employs a staff of more than 50 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes guidance counselors, speech therapists, reading coaches, computer technicians, media specialists, special educators, art and music professionals, classroom teachers, and health and physical education instructors. Ranchwood Elementary School is a part of Yukon Public Schools and is located in Yukon, Okla.
