Ponca City Utility Authority
The Ponca City Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that works to protect lives and property from fire, medical emergencies, and natural and man-made disasters through prevention, education and medical services. It operates a communication and dispatch center that coordinates responses to various emergency and nonemergency calls. The department also maintains a search and rescue unit that provides water, rope, trench and confined space rescue services. The Ponca City Fire Department serves a population of more than 25,000 citizens living in an area of over 400 square miles. It is comprised of more than 60 fire suppression and emergency medical personnel.
