Established in 1890, Carlton Plants is one of the largest fruit and vegetable growers in the United States. The company provides bareroot tress, shrubs, seedlings and rootstocks to various growers, landscapers, retail garden centers and landscape contractors. It offers a range of virus certified fruit trees, including apricots, cherries, peaches, prunes, plums, pears, apples and nectarines. In addition, Carlton Plants provides more than 250 varieties of shrubs and roses. The company also offers a full-line of whips, branched trees and specialty ornaments. It provides vines of various colors, sizes, textures and fragrances. The company also performs undercutting and starch testing, as well as offers a cold storage warehouse facility. Carlton Plants operates a nursery that spreads over an area of more than 1,700 acres. It is located at Dayton, Ore.
