St. Charles Laboratory Services provides 24-hour, on-demand physician consultation services. It operates St. Charles Bend and St. Charles Redmond laboratories. The center s laboratories meet the quality standards established by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) and The Joint Commission (JCAHO). Its St. Charles division operates a blood bank that is certified by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The center s laboratories provide hematology, chemistry, coagulation, serology and microbiology services. Its laboratories perform more than 2 million tests annually. The center s laboratories employ over 150 professionals. It also maintains outpatient service centers.
