Edison High School
Founded in 1973, Thomas A. Edison High School offers educational programs for students. Its academic curriculum includes math, social studies, science, economics and language arts. The school also offers classes in art, drama and music. Thomas A. Edison High School provides a summer program and maintains a student council. It offers leadership, advocacy, research, education and support services. The school provides opportunities to participate in keyboarding and tennis. Thomas A. Edison High School is funded by GuideStar. It additionally offers breakfast options and provides various fundraising programs. The school is located in Portland, Ore. It is the only private high school in Oregon specifically designed to meet the needs of students with complex learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder issues.
