History

I started sewing when I was 12 years old and have made just about everything that can be sewn. In 2010, after retiring from careers in teaching and real estate many people have come to me to work on their sewing projects for them and this business has taken on a life of it's own. I am very pleased to say that I am not retired but very busy doing what I love: working with people to make their dream project a reality.

My business specializes in alterations and custom sewing for your family and your home. If it is something that can be sewn come talk to me about your project. Projects that I do most often are altering and creating custom bridal and formal wear, mending and giving your favorite apparel a new life, home decorating projects such as pillows, cushions, bedding, table linens, and nursery bedding. I also love working on those very unique projects that you have been thinking about having made. Some of the recent ones I've done are a reflector screen for a photographer, taking apart an umbrella and making a beautiful lining using the client's custom designed fabric, renew a large mascot for a local company.
