I always love a "hole in the wall" place, and this is one of them. If you blink you will miss it, and you better not blink, because it is well worth the stop. The sandwiches here are the best...

Since 1969, Luigi's has been known for it's signature sandwich - the "Garbage Grinder". Fresh baked bread, salami, ham, pepperoni, secret sauce and 2 cheeses are melted in the oven and then covered with fresh pickles, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions & olive oil ez salt. I added free pepperocini's. Arguably, the best grinder in Southern Oregon. If you're cruising North or South on I5, near Medford, I highly recommend trying the "Garbage Grinder" at Luigi's. Be prepared to take it with you as this tiny Italian sandwich joint gets packed. Super friendly staff and service.

The food was phenomenal! We had the Ultimate Garbage Grinder, after we were shown what they looked like and it was the best sub sandwich that I can remember ever having! We sat in an outside table...

My wife and I love this place. I always love a cooked/baked sandwich. This is the second time we have stopped here on our travels to Washington State. Both times sandwiches were very good.
