HistoryThe Ledge outdoor store started as a desire to bring top notch gear to Klamath Falls, OR. It started on Main Street (tiny), then blossomed into a half block sized endeavor by 2004. Construction of our climbing gym, The Yeti's Lair started in 2004 with the help of community members. By 2007, the construction was finished and paid off! We then opened K. Falls first and only climbing gym. The store expanded, while weathering the Great Recession. In 2009, we added a solar array of 96 panels, giving us a 20 kW capability. We then became the first outdoor store in the west to become fully solar powered. 2015 brought us another opportunity to acquire our old police station and city jail building!
