I am an oncologic surgeon specializing in breast surgery and I have had the honor of being a member of great cancer care teams with Geisinger Clinic, Lehigh Valley Health Network, and Sentara Healthcare prior to joining Penn Medicine Lancaster General Healthhere in Lancaster.These experiences have afforded me opportunities to explore my passions; RESEARCH to better understand breast cancer, EDUCATION to ensure that physicians understand breast cancer and the needs of patients with breast issues, and the DEVELOPMENT of new treatments to enhance the care of patients with breast cancer. These efforts have also allowed me to collaborate with breast cancer providers across the country (and a few outside the country) in these areas.The best care for individuals with breast cancer occurs with a team approach, and at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Healthwe are fortunate to have an engaged team that includes not only the physicians and providers who deliver the treatments but a dedicated group of colleagues who work to assure that those treatments can be administered safely and in a timely fashion.Our objective is to not only eradicate the disease whenever possible but to assist the patient and family in maintaining a full, productive, and enjoyable life.Since 2007, I have been recognized as a Best Doctor in America and a Top Doctor; however, these honors are reflective of the entire care team.
