He earned a medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, and completed a residency at Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Anand is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He speaks English and Hindi.

Emily Rice, PA-CEmily Rice, PA-C, is a physician assistant with AHN Pediatric Institute, specializing in pediatrics. Her clinical interests include behavioral and mental health. She is skilled at providing pediatric medical care and minimally invasive, nonsurgical treatments. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Emily is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She prefers to look at the patient as a whole to ensure their specific physical and mental needs are met. She sees patients from birth to age 21.
