North Apollo Borough
North Apollo Borough, located in North Apollo, PA, was established in 1930 after a group of local citizens successfully petitioned the county courts to form a separate town from Kiskiminnetas Township. Originally named Glenola, the town was later renamed North Apollo due to postal service complications. Over the years, the borough has expanded and in the late 1990s, a new building was constructed to accommodate the growing needs of the community. The original borough office, housed in a small one-room building, served as the administrative center, council chambers, police station, and wage tax collector. However, as the borough continued to develop, it became evident that a larger space was necessary. In 1998, a new addition to the borough garage was completed, providing separate offices for the secretary and tax collector, as well as ample meeting space for council gatherings. North Apollo Borough remains committed to serving its residents and ensuring the smooth functioning of the town.Generated from the website
