RYCON Construction is a general contracting firm that offers preconstruction services. It also provides new construction building renovation and design/build services for commercial, industrial, institutional and government projects. The firm maintains a more than 25,000-square-foot facility. Established in 1989, its clients include Allegheny County Airport, Allegheny General Hospital, the Canon-McMillan School District, McKesson Corporation, Oxford Development Company and Carnegie Mellon University. The company manages a staff of accountants, administrative assistants, estimators, projects managers and superintendents. RYCON Construction has undertaken projects for Lord & Taylor Department Store, Marconi Communications, the Kaufmann's Distribution Center, Brookline Library, Dick's Sporting Goods, National City Bank and Bayer Cafeteria.
