The Cameron County School District offers educational opportunities through an elementary and high school. The district s schools serve students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its schools curricula include math, English, science, language arts and social studies. The Cameron County School District s high school offers art, technological and college preparatory programs to students. The district s schools also conduct classes in computer, library and physical education, as well as family and consumer science. Its schools offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including band, chorus, and drama, math, newspaper, ski and sewing clubs. The Cameron County School District organizes a range of sports activities, such as baseball, wrestling, basketball, weight lifting and cheerleading through its schools.

Wellsville Montessori School has been serving the Wellsville community for over 20 years, and, we are the longest running program that offers preschool and before and after school day care in the area. Our program is open all year round, offering an array of services including preschool, before and after-school day care and spring and summer day camps. Wellsville Montessori School is proud of our caring and professionally trained staff members who are committed to the growth of every child attending our programs. Sue Monroe, Co-Director of WMS & Director of Before and After School Program. Sue began the Before and After School Program in 1995 and has been with the school since. She runs the day to day business of WMS and has been working with children for over 30 years. Danielle has been with Wellsville Montessori since 1996 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a major in Child Development, and a Masters of Science in Elementary Education. She also has her New York State Teacher Certificate. Karen has been with Wellsville Montessori since 1996 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
