We have received over $53, 000 towards the elevator fund! Praise God for your faithfulness! It is time to move forward on this project. To help it along the FUF Campaign Committee is issuing a challeng to all members and friends. There are many of you who may not have had a chance to make a pledge and you still can by mailing your pledge to McMasters UMC 200 Church Street, PA 15145 Turtle Creek, in care of Julie Krantz. Please mark FUF next to my name to insure I receive it. This is not the challenge, just an opportunity to participate. We are challenging all members and friends to pray for the elevator project during Lent and see how much of an extra gift you can give. We are suggesting the cost of dinner if you eat out between now and Easter Sunday. Whether it be at McDonald's, Eat 'n Park, Denny's, Olive Garden, or any other type of restaurant. On Sunday, April 11, we will have a special lunch after church services and we will ask that you bring your contributions to that lunch and deposit it in the big yellow box. Without using names, we will count the offerings and celebrate the gifts and the givers. Please put either your envelope # or your name and the amount on your gift envelope. We always promise confidentiality. Only Terry White and I get to see the names on the envelopes. Our goal is to raise at least $1, 000.00 + at this lunch!
