Elizabeth E Knepp, MD

Dr. Hayes is a general surgeon who specializes in surgery for weight loss, including gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, lap band removal, lap band to bypass, lap band to sleeve bypass, and gallbladder surgery for bariatric patients. His special clinical interests are bariatric surgery, sleeves, and revisions. A graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Hayes also completed a bariatric and minimally invasive surgical fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He speaks English.

Dr. Withers treats children and adolescents with mood and anxiety disorders, childhood behavioral disorders, and ADHD. He provides PCIT, play therapy with children, clinical hypnosis, and psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy. He also performs bariatric pre-surgical evaluations. He is clinically interested in ADHD and mood and anxiety disorders. He was named the AGH Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Teacher of the Year for 2008-2009 and for 2012-2013.
