Ji Young Shin, MD

Dr. Chewaproug is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Einstein Healthcare Network. Dr. Chewaproug is Associate Program Director of Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia General Nephrology Training Program. Her research interests include electrolyte disorders, glomerular disease, and kidney transplantation. Dr. Chewaproug is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, National Kidney Foundation, and American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Dissanayake is board-certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Einstein Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Nephrology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Dissanayake has extensive research experience and completed training in the ABIM Clinical Investigator Pathway. She has published numerous abstracts and articles in the area of bone mineralization and metabolism. Her areas of interest include diabetes, hypertension, kidney/liver disease, lupus, and anemia.
