Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts

Kimmel Center is a charitable and nonprofit organization and that owns and manages various Verizon Hall, Perelman Theater, Innovation Studio and the Merck Arts Education Center. It also manages the Academy of Music owned by the Philadelphia Orchestra Association. Its education department offers various educational programs in music, vocal and performing arts courses. The organization also offers teen summer arts camp programs for children of ages from 12 to 18. It additionally offers various job and internship programs. The Kimmel Center also assists various performing arts organizations, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Ballet, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, American Theater Arts for Youth and the Philadelphia Chamber Music.
