Born to Argentinian parents, Dr. Giugale is fluent in both English and Spanish. Throughout his youth, he lived on four different continents and has a passion for global outreach, performing international medical mission work in Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Panama, and Peru. Dr. Giugale is an avid sportsman and a fitness enthusiast. He plays soccer multiple times a week in indoor and outdoor leagues in western Pennsylvania. He is fond of the culinary arts, and of the booming Pittsburgh food scene. He enjoys cooking, and is a member of several community supported agriculture crop shares. True to his Argentinian roots, he pursues a life-long quest to perfect the art of grilling steak. He lives in the city with his wife, a urogynecologist, and their baby daughter.
