Timothy J. Sauber II, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon with AHN Orthopaedic Institute, specializing in adult reconstruction, arthroplasty, anterior hip replacement, hip arthritis, hip replacement, joint replacement, knee arthritis, knee replacement surgery, Mako robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery. He provides patient-centered care tailored to meet each individual’s needs. Dr. Sauber II attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He completed his residency at AHN West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in joint preservation, resurfacing, and replacement at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Sauber II welcomes patients ages 18 and older, ensuring they receive the highest standard of orthopaedic care.

Dr. Snell specializes in sports medicine, concussion therapy, and biologics/stem-cell care. He treats patients with sports injuries, concussions, and musculoskeletal injuries and fractures. He is experienced at providing fracture and concussion care and biologic/stem-cell injections. Dr. Snell is director of AHN Sports Concussion program. He is also head team physician, Pittsburgh Pirates; a member of the Major League Baseball (MLB) Concussion Committee and Biologic Committee and MLBNAC. He is a U.S. Olympic physician, a sports advisory physician with the PIAA, and an orthopaedic consultant for MLB Team Scotti. He served as a past board member of PA Podiatry, a director of PCSM Division, and Director of PCSM Fellowship. He is past president of MLB Team Physician Associates and was named Team Physician 2009 “Physician of the Year.” He speaks English.

Dr. Ercolano received her medical degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento California graduating with honors. She completed her surgical internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Department of Orthopaedics where she served as administrative chief resident. She received her fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology at the Harvard Combined/Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Ercolano has received numerous academic and clinical awards and honors. She is a published author of medical articles and abstracts on a wide variety of orthopaedic topics. She has been involved in various clinical research projects and has presented to medical audiences both locally and nationally. She holds professional memberships with the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the National Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi) and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. She is also a candidate member of MSTS and AAOS. Dr. Ercolano was named one of Pittsburgh Magazine's "Best Doctors" in 2020. Dr. Ercolano joins the physicians of Allegheny Orthopaedic Associates at the Human Motion Center. She has staffing privileges at Allegheny General Hospital and is accepting new patients of all ages.
